WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: A woman has sparked fury online after sharing pictures of her most recent kill on a hunting trip, where she posed with what she thought was a baby wolf.
A woman by the name of Amber claimed she had killed her first ever wolf while out hunting, however, the "wolf" she shared pictures of on social media was actually a husky.
The post has since been taken down, however screenshots of it are going viral online.
"So this morning I set out for a solo predator hunt for a fall black bear however I got the opportunity to take another predator," she wrote, adding it was "great" being able to message her partner and tell him about killing her first wolf pup.

(26,955 posts)The husky was among a group of 18 dogs and puppies, including German shepherd mixes, that had been abandoned on national forest land in northwestern Montana in mid-September, the Flathead County Sheriffs Office has said.
The investigation led the woman to be cited with a misdemeanor and not charged with a felony because officers believe they can prove negligence, but not intent, the sheriffs office told NBC Montana.
The citation gives the woman two weeks to appear in Justice Court, Officer Paul Charbonneau said.
The Flathead County Animal Shelter cared for the dogs, some of which had parvo, a viral infection that causes vomiting and diarrhea. Charbonneau said he believed all the dogs had been adopted.

I did not even know they could be issued?

(17,622 posts)I lost my husky mix about three years ago. She was the absolutely best dog I'd ever owned. Her face resembled this dog's face but with some dark brown patches from a springer spaniel line.
I don't dare post what I'm thinking of with regards to this POS woman. How fucking stupid do you have to be to think that this dog is a wolf? Has she never seen a husky before? Or pictures of wolves?
I'm just livid right now.

(29,078 posts)If she can't tell the difference between a husky and a wolf she shouldn't be allowed a license to kill them.

(131 posts)First of all, I was disgusted with the actions and bs lies by who I thought at first was a man in the photo lineup. He/Her smiling proudly for shooting a puppy that he/her claimed was a wolf hybrid. I ued to have a Husky that looked exactly like the pup. Clearly the pup had zero characteristics of a wolf hybrid and then claiming the puppy was snarling and attacking her, yeah right. In many states wolves are protected species because they are on the brink of extinction. They have been here for thousands of years and are just another example of humans demonizing then hunting them and numerous other wildlife species into extinction.
This sad story reminded me of another hunting woman who shot and killed a small Giraffe and then proceeded to pose next to the iconic animal in full makeup, posing as if she was a model. She was a dogface. Same sickness for killing like the American dentist who baited a well known collared lion from his wildlife preserve and then shot it with an arrow. The lion limped away wounded and latter the "brave" hunter followed the lion's blood trail and finally caught up to him. I believe the animal was still alive up until this serial killer hunter shot him, ending his life.
The Trump kids are avid hunters and enjoy killing African animals the most. The photo of wimp Don Jr standing next to an elephant he just shot and killed was another example of an entitled psycho getting his rocks off killing a defenseless and threatened species.
What really got me was that punk had cut off the elephant's tail and was holding it up in the air with a big smile on his face. He also had his old man help him get a special hunting waiver to kill an endangered species of antelope in I believe was Nepal. Part of the deal was to invite the government official to the White House for a photo shoot.

(9,212 posts)And it would not be ok in my book to kill a baby wolf or a wolf either. If these dogs were being cared for by a shelter why was this poor dog running around loose there? She set out to kill a black bear and kills a husky puppy who she said was an aggressive hybrid she knew he wasn't a wolf.

(24,207 posts)I get hunting, I really do. Duck, deer, and even rabbit hunting can be thrilling and there's a sense of participating in nature and being part of the natural order of things. Wolf hunting is absolutely unnecessary in all but a few places. Bear hunting the same.
And those people who hunt fenced in African big game that are basically farm animals at that point are sociopaths. They're sick.
This woman looks disturbed, she's smiling ear to ear because she thought she killed a wolf puppy. What the hell is wrong with someone like that?
