(6,991 posts)An online article said that Sicknick & his whole family were Republicans.
If that online article was right, I sure would hate for his Mom to still belong to the same group of murdering, treasonous, insane vigilante asses that had a hand in murdering her son.
At least she doesn't appear to be on team tReason like that reich-winged wackadoodle whose treasonous daughter traitor Babbit learned the hard way what the meaning of the word "stop" really means. I guess she thought because she was wearing her big girl, tRump conspiracy panties, breaching the US Capitol meant that she was absolved from learning the hard way what "STOP" meant.
Yup, tRaitor Babbit learned the hard way what "stop" meant.

(3,251 posts)but lesser than deadly force could have been used to effect that. I'm truly saddened that anyone had to die that day. Aren't you?

Saw this on TV and watched the short clip to see if that conclusion was included.
Nicole Wallace is the best on MSNBC now.
Fanone is correct about Lake.

(90,931 posts)And he almost died a horrible, brutalized death trying to protect Congress from you worthless violent, resentful misplaced-grudge-holding assholes. He and his colleagues were risking their lives that day, protecting the worthless anarchic America-hating excuses for human beings that YOU sent to represent your lame ignorant hateful knuckle-dragging selves in Congress.
So whats it to ya, snowflakes?

(9,967 posts)I agree 100% with your post and think those that oppose the hate have yet to come up to the full force we need to get out of the nation's mess.
This is first thread I read at DU after watching that segment and was surprised that Fanone rightly called Lake a POS and it was not bleeped from TV feed.
Think at this point, the opposition needs to be summarily (and metaphorically) bulldozed.
(Apologize for spelling Fanone's name wrong and need for edit)

(90,931 posts)Your post certainly does nail it. ALL of America needs to wake up.
The only thing that gives me hope is the story of the numbers. Simply put, there are more of us than there are of them.
We should be ruthlessly exploiting that fact til the cows come home!

(9,429 posts)When talking about or thinking about Brian, please remember that if not for the insurrection and the crowds use of chemicals in their attack, Brian would still be here. The DC Medical Examiner could not see DIRECT cause and affect. The ME is a doctor and I am not, but I know what happened that day, we all saw what happened on 1/6, the attack was caught on video.
Brian was a 40 year old guy with no extra weight, light drinking non smoking cop who put about 15- 25 miles a day on his bike. 5 days a week 48 weeks a year. Hot, cold, whatever, on his bike securing the Capitol.
Brian came to work at 0700 on 1/6 around 10 pm, Brian left the Capitol unconscious, he was admitted to the ICU via the emergency room and died without regaining consciousness. Brian came to work and never went home. He was briefly kept on life support so that his family could say good bye.
Brian was a right wing guy, but when Democracy was under attack, he more than stepped up, he gave his life. Brian Sicknik is an American Hero

(9,429 posts)He came to the Capitol to protect democracy. Self deployed to harms way and after he was brutally assaulted, tased, beaten, dragged into a crowd, his career was ended. Mike is a hero.
