Yard sign reports

How is the yard sign situation in your area?

In my home county of Butler, PA (+27% GOP voter registration advantage) there are more Democratic yard signs (Josh Shapiro for governor, John Fetterman for Senate, and Dan Pastore for HoR) than I have ever seen in my life. Democratic signs have appeared in places where they have never been in the past. The GOP signs are in the normal locations for an election year. If someone did not know that the GOP has such a large voter registration advantage and traveled throughout Butler County, they would swear it is about 50/50 (maybe 55/45 GOP advantage at worst) in terms of party affiliation based on yard signs.

I’ve seen a lot of signs, which is unusual. I won’t put any up because I fear retribution. I’m not alone in that. Some have had cars keyed in the Obama days. It’s an ugly crowd.

On another note, Fetterman will be on The View on Fri, probably by distance but it will give him an opportunity with a different audience.

3. My last yard sign was for John Kerry in 2004.

The sign lasted two days before someone threw it on the street beside my house. I had an extra one so I put that one up in its place. The second sign lasted less than 24 hours before it disappeared.
The three signs I have for Shapiro, Fetterman, and Pastore have been there since Sunday. Fingers crossed they last until election day.

But it's certainly 50-50 or better for Fetterman/Shapiro.

we're pretty blue in this county (mostly) and in our subdivision I've only seen 3 signs, 2 for Beto (one of which is ours) and 1 for a Republican congressional candidate so it's pretty quiet sign-wise around here, but it generally is.

Most involve putting signs for local and county Republicans but they also have a Tim Ryan for Senate among the group. I hope this is a good sign, no pun intended.

6. Nothing but Republican signs, and lots of them. Many have been up since last year.

But then, we still have a Friday night Trump parade with (mostly) pick-up trucks driving down Main Street honking horns and flying Trump flags.

Luckily, Chicago will carry the rest of the State again by ensuring we have Democrats for Governor and both Senate seats.

There are tons on Neil Parrot signs out. Parrot is running for the HoR and wants legislation to force all HIV positive persons to be tattooed. I'm sure you can all imagine how far I'm running from that crap. I have my ballot all filled out, just have to drop in in the drop box.

There's one house on the nearby main thoroughfare with Vance/DeWine signs up, but they are alone. Not a single other sign on that street or any surrounding streets.

We don't put signs up and never have. Retribution is the main deterrent of doing so, but I also don't think they make any real difference, but to each his own.

and school board, as usual. I see occasional signs for the two candidates for Congress (both Dems, due to California's jungle primary). I know Senator, Governor, and the other state offices are up for a vote, but haven't seen a single sign for any of them. Very Blue city in the Bay Area, went overwhelmingly for Biden in 2020 (and Clinton in 2016)
