4. The redistricting of Nashville was a criminal act.

The sole purpose was to dilute the votes of urban voters, so that rural voters would overpower them.
It could backfire, as some towns and cities that surround Nashville are experiencing rapid growth. In our 7th district, Clarksville, home to Austin Peay University, is the 5th largest city in Tennessee. No doubt, as its population continues to increase, it will be on the gerrymandering chopping block.
