I filed to vote absentee, and they claimed the ballot got sent out, but I never received it.
That means I will either have to stagger into the polling place,or be Very Aggravating and insisting on curbside service.
Lesson learned: Ask to vote absentee early and often? so that if the Merry Mail Manglers and Mislayers do this again, there will be time to get another ballot.

2 votes in the bank, straight Dem, of course, from my household!

(7,635 posts)2. I applied for a mail-in ballot early and delivered it to my town hall.
The mail is so bad here that I would never mail it back. I'm lucky enough to live near my town hall where there is a depository for ballots.
