Just saw The weirdest thing. Trump ranting to music that was eerie. Then they showed him marching up the plane steps while he was applauding on the stage.
It really showed the contrast of 2 Presidents, friends embracing and enjoying both the crowd and embracing.
After Trump, now comes the contrast! Biden and Obama. Rerun on CSPAN! That has to be Rob Reiner in the front.

- signs here.

Yes, you could use a dose of high charged energy just to counteract the corporate media's lies.
Signs don't mean anything. I saw an old redneck prick smugly get out of his car & put up signs without askimg in several yards (local race August).
Only 1 person took the sign down.
People are generally spineless, tbh. They don't necessarily support the candidate(s).
Is's qpuke psypps.

leader. The crowd at Biden's rally was so fired up. I felt happy-because today has been extra hard for me.

I hope Fetterman and Shapiro go to the middle of nowhere, too. They don't need to win a majority of voters in the hinterlands of Pennsylvania, but peel off a few percent and build an invincible lead.

(8,240 posts)He's actually really popular there. He really needs to keep his win percentages high in Philly and it's burbs

(82,849 posts)Urban rallies in big venues are fun and all, but it's those small venues that can really reap some dividends. I hope you're right about Fetterman, and I hope Shapiro prevails as well.
I'm encouraged in Oregon, as the unaffiliate candidate Betsy Johnson drops (no surprise), a lot of her former support is going to the Democrat, Tina Kotek. We might prevail in a race that looked like the Republican candidate's to lose. Fingers crossed.

(172,265 posts)(yes almost 2 years ago).
A few times near the end of summer and yesterday were actually the first times he has been here to the Philly area rallying. But see there were many who were anti-Fetterman the past year and pooh-poohed/ignored his earlier campaigning, including predicting that he would lose the primary to Connor Lamb.
His very first rally, post-stroke, was in Erie, PA (the biggest county to flip to (R) in 2016 and one that Biden took back in 2020) -
He was in York, PA (red York County) which is part of the supposed "Pennsyltucky" in south Central PA (near where he was born), just last month -
He was on the campus of Indiana University of PA in red Indiana County in September (the county south of where Punxsutawney - yes that one - is) -
He was also in purple Lehigh County (Bethlehem) in September -
He rallied with Union workers in red Beaver county last month -
He was also in blood red Westmoreland County last month -
He was in deep red Cumberland County (which also is part of the Christo-fascist Mastriano's Senatorial District) the past week -
But see, none of this fits "The Narrative®" so that Democrats can continue to trash and bash their own candidates.
