PayPal and ActBlue are screwy today

I have made countless political donations with ActBlue and PayPal and never a glitch. But twice in the past 24 hrs I am getting a message that PayPal can't complete my transaction. Both times I was following a link in my Gmail to donate.

I got around it by opening the donate screen in my Firefox browser. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is having this issue.

I find it more than a bit weird, on the weekend before this major election, these tried and true apps aren't playing nice!!

1. Pay pal is a wing nut donating a shit ton of millions to election deniers.

2. ActBlue has worked seamlessly for me.

They have donations pretty well figured out. Getting killed in my Inbox with 100's of requests, but that's the nature of giving. You get more give requests. Oh well, it will change next week.

7. They just go to my spam folder, and then I delete them.

Easy peasy.

So I still donate through Act Blue.

I've only donated to several GOTV initiatives since the middle of October. It's too late for ads to matter.

any donations will be used to pay off campaign debts. It’s too late to program any new donations into commercials, etc.
