(11,032 posts)The campaign, with a Facebook page called Periods for Pence, was launched to protest a new law in Indiana, which bans abortions due to fetal abnormality or on the basis of race or gender. It also requires the remains of aborted or miscarried fetuses to be interred or cremated.
One protester also called the office of the bill's sponsor, Rep. Casey Cox, to report that her vagina had an "amazing weekend."https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/periods-for-pence-women-protest-indiana-abortion-law/

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
