Turnout here in my Brooklyn district seemed much bigger than usual

First time in a very long time that I’ve actually had to wait on line to vote in a midterm year here in NYC. Probably waited about 10 minutes to get my ballot and then another few minutes to get into a booth. Not super long, but in the past I’ve been in and out in 5 minutes or less total.

Hopefully good news for Hochul (et al).

Sounds like good news. Brooklyn is heavily Dem, right? brush Nov 2022 #1

Did you notice if there were more women in line than usual?

Hochul basically needs to run up the score here in NYC so the huge number of Democrats in the city need to turn out and not be complacent. (She’s going to win but maybe by a little less.)

I voted in Kips Bay and a steady stream of voters coming and going. Not the 90 minute weekend wait of 2020 but busier than I've seen the other Early voting.
