FAWKING tRump FAWKING WON. I am getting a very worrisome feeling, and im In Southeastern MN. I just dont know if I can watch all the coverage. Sorry for even bringing up tRump winning.

I don't drink much, but I have a couple of options that I might tap into. Or, I may just tuck myself into bed with my early and rise to face it all tomorrow.
I have to hold positivity even if we are likely to have some concerns regardless.

(38,328 posts)Unless you're actively helping people get to the polls (driving them or whatever), at this point there's nothing you can do. So instead of chewing through your nails and half up your fingers, or downing half a bottle of antacid, go watch a movie, play a game, read a book.
Hell, get smashed, even. Or just go to bed early.
It's past the point where you can affect things, so don't chew yourself up. Before the election: chop wood, carry water.
After the election: chop wood, carry water.

(27,676 posts)I went to bed believing we were gonna have a Madame President. I woke up n was in shock. Then 4 years of hell n the cult invasion. I dont get excited anymore about elections. I vote n try to keep up w/ the goings on so tonight, Ill go to bed n see what happened on Election Day n hope for the best. Polls be damned.
