Exit polls are useless.

I don’t get it. They are only polling people who voted today. They will be highly skewed toward republicans. In 2020, 43% of people voted by mail, and another significant number voted early.

So, they are polling less than 50% of voters that likely lean Republican.

I’ll take them with a grain of salt, but it would be nice if they at least mentioned this in their reporting.

It's used when elections are monitored in 3rd world countries to verify election integrity.

5. As stated: exit polls also factor in mail ballots & early in-person voting.

It's a bit trickier but they will poll these people after they've voted.
