2. I think MSNBC is doing that deliberately to mess with our heads

Seriously, they know that most of their viewers are Dems.
They want us sitting in front of our TV sets for the next 24 hours.

3. And You Know That They're Wrong?

They could be, but shouldn't we wait for the results to start complaining about their coverage? Or should they say the Democrats are fine, just so people here at DU will feel good for now.

5. Isn't that the problem, though? Shouldn't they wait for the results to start writing the Dems obit?

9. Well, If MSNBC Is Thinking It's Bad, We're Screwed

At this point, they have by far the most Liberal hosts and regular coverage. Sure, they're MSM, but I don't think their hosts would act alarmed if it wasn't warranted.

And I haven't really heard them being all that negative. They're simply reporting polling and results, which are out of their control.

16. They risk depressing the vote. I still remember, decades ago, hearing that George Bush had won

while we were driving home from work -- not having voted yet. We still voted but it was depressing. And there was a significant drop off in voting on the whole west coast when that happened. It hurt Democrats down ballot.

Since then elections officials avoid making official pronouncements till voting is closed here, but I think the unofficial predictions hurt us, too.

is gone at the beginning of the show. But Kornacki just won't shut up.

10. That's Not Breaking News
Tue Nov 8, 2022, 07:22 PM
Nov 2022

It's been the repubs House to lose for months and months. Outside of DU, I have never heard that the House was certain to go the Dems way.

13. Who said it was breaking news and who said it was CERTAIN to go the Dems way?

I haven't seen that anywhere on here. Until the numbers come in, nobody should be implying the House is gone despite the history.

12. MSNBC gives Steve way too much air time.

He begins to talk in circles trying to make sense of data that is way too raw to be definitively interpreted yet. I’m getting ready to switch to another network because of him. There are a lot of local races I’m interested in, so I just may ditch the cable networks altogether to get those results from one of the network affiliates.

He was a mostly behind the scenes analyst. Now that his hyperactivity is a feature of MSNBC it’s almost unwatchable.

And that included Kornacki.

Don’t know which version of MSNBC you’ve been watching, but it’s apparently not the same channel I get.
