Some seem to have a low threshold for fear, I'm following MSNBC (Rachel) but a lot of worriers seem to be following CNN.

That might be part of the problem.

Hang in there!

Some people are throwing their hands up and admitting defeat.

Others, like you, are seeing a path to victory.

It's a study in contrasts.

if current numbers hold: one new seat based on census increase and another seat from redistricting.

Is either party ready for a) the House equivalent of Sinema/Manchin or b) the pressure to have every single member present for simple votes? It could be a royal shit show (obviously more so if the Repukes end up being the ones with a single seat or two majority).

What does seems clear with the results we have now at 10:16 pm EST, is
THERE IS NO "RED WAVE" !!

If there ever was, it is being negated with increased Democratic turnout.

I don't expect either side to run away with the results tonight, from what I see so far, but it is good news that "they" are not running away with anything...

We will probably lose the House, as the Republicans only needed 5 seats to take it over, and they could do that mostly on the strength of their gerrymandering gains alone-- but I would predict a very small majority for them there. If they do take it over, it will be a non-stop batshit-crazy overreach clown show for 2 years, which will give the house back to Democrats in 2024...

The New Hampshire senate race results thus far appear to be good news, as I was worried about that seat. The Republican candidate is consistently running behind Trump's 2020 results, and Trump LOST the state-- so I am comfortable in believing that we will hold onto that seat.

In Georgia, Walker is running behind Trump 2020 and 4 points behind the GOP Governor. I feel comfortable in projecting that he cannot win that election tonight... A runoff may have to be held, but Walker won't win tonight. (Of course it is deplorable that this is not a blowout for Warnock right now, but it is what it is-- Georgia Republicans would vote for an abortionist against anyone with a "D" next to their name, the hypocritical fake christian bastards!)

I am mightily relieved by everything I see so far...

Still in their favor, but Dems are leading in most of the tossups. The problem is that most of the tossups were D to begin with...
