The Airwaves were saturated with Desatan ads. Crist had the worst ads I have ever seen, and they were 1 Crist ad for every 100 for Desatan. And zero pushback of some of the most dishonest ads ever. I live in Fort Myers which just suffered one of the worst Hurricanes ever. One of the only remaining reasons I have left to live here Fort Myers Beach is all but destroyed. I knew this was a long shot but Crist didn't even try in my opinion. Wish Nikkie ran.

9. Democratic turnout was pathetic

Crist and Demings got less votes than any statewide Democratic candidate in the last 3 election cycles.

Democrats usually get around 4 million votes or a just a little more. Republicans usually perform around the same. This year, they just barely scraped 3 million, while Republican maintained that trend getting about 4.4 million votes. 4.4 million is an expected amount of votes for Republicans. Where did all those Democrats go?
