Good God, they are pivoting back to "the country is over"

My office mate couldn't get a word out before starting into "it's sad and it's going to get worse. You won't be able to afford to eat, buy gas.. blah blah.. and I hate to have to say it but it will be an l told you so .."

I laughed. They got a case of the sad this morning. Back to the Qanon nonsense for them I guess.

Anyone else getting this yet?

Someone here wanted to write the eulogy for our country just yesterday

So yes have been getting that, I guess. My bitter mom said that after Obama won

I think the truth of the matter is the country will endure despite political differences

And maybe toxic tribal bloodlust isn’t healthy

Silence. It was such a blue wave wipe out here, they're all just stunned.

They were so confident Whitmer was hated and would lose.

I was at an auto shop yesterday when a younger guy that looked like your prototypical trump guy comes in telling people to vote or we’re going to lose the country. Guessing he’s having a bad morning.

and they are balling around about how people just voted social issues - they don't care about the high gas prices, etc.

But not.

They are educated people but just brainwashed by biggotry and hate. They think Biden forced gas companies and food suppliers to raise prices or that it's all part of some lizard people conspiracy (I got the whole "they are burning down food factories" over the summer). Again, educated people who should know how oil and food prices work, willing to suspend reality to pretend they are "victims".

Shake my head is all I can do (and that makes them even more mad)
