As Gov. Gretchen Whitmer waited to speak at a campaign event Saturday night in Detroit, the 51-year-old mother of two joined her junior staffers in turning a cartwheel backstage.
“Like physically doing cartwheels,” said Sen. Debbie Stabenow, a fellow Michigan Democrat who also spoke at the event. “They were good! I was impressed.”

1. I would like to see her eventually run for President. She's AWESOME. Great person and politician.

She is going to have options for sure. If Biden doesn't run in 2024 she will probably be on the short list of VP choices.

3. I've always been a big fan of hers. I thought she would have made a great VP pick for Biden. But we

needed her in Michigan. I'm glad to see her stock has risen even higher. I think she might be the first woman president.

I would like to see her fill the seat if Senator Stabenow chooses not to run in 2024.
