If we could get the youth votes numbers similar to the other states, we might have gotten the senate seat.

(33,643 posts)That's why the numbers between the blue and red end up at or close to 100%.
That ratio could be affected by turnout, of course, but could also reflect makeup/leanings of the young people in the state.

(5,058 posts)Someone already suggested to raise voting age to 21. They aren't even pretending to reach their votes. Just cancel their votes.
