The documents Trump wouldn't give back

Are things he personally ordered to be classified hoping it would prevent DOJ from having access to. It's all stuff like the Ukrainian phone call where it would show him involved in a likely crime. This explains why he keeps insisting the documents"belong to him" and why he has claimed they must go straight to the National Archive and stay out of the hands of DOJ This also explains why he hasn't been arrested yet as the classification levels may not actually be appropriate and the documents likely have no current sensitive nature.

There may be a few other things, but it will turn out to be mostly things he was personally up to and not actual "top secret" data and whatnot. We already know he put a bogus classification on the Ukraine phone call so it would make sense that he did that other times.

The indictment is coming, no doubt and we'll know soon. DOJ has to make the case to the American People as well as a grand jury, so they have to be able to spell this out as so egregious that it must be prosecuted.

1. Given he thinks everything in life is transactional, the Pig thinks he owns the Presidency.

He did the deal, rallies, fund raising and won the election. It is his now and then Biden stole it from him because the Pig didn't sell it to him.

I believe it is that simple.

We saw from the FBI evidence photo that there was plenty of documents marked secret and classified if they were unclassified he should’ve crossed it out or something. Makes me wonder about the empty folders they found

when they just grab things and scream MINE!, you've seen the stage of emotional development that Trump has been frozen in for his entire life.

attainment of a typical 2 year old.

My son behaved better when he was 2. Had a better command of the language, too. He had a few tantrums, yes, but never the "MINE!" manifestation of the terrible twos. I saw other kids around him behaving that way, but he didn't, for whatever reason. Or didn't where I could see.

4. Garland will not indict

We keep pointing to new revelations of Trump lawbreaking and say, ‘when this is proven Trump will finally be indicted’ as if none of his previous actions are bad enough. But they are! That they haven’t been charged is evidence enough that Garlands DOJ won’t act. Instead they’ll point to the Capitol insurrectionists convictions and congratulate themselves.

Get hired by the DOJ, put the case before a grand jury, get the indictment, and get the conviction at trial.

Since it's all so easy to you, go for it!

That is Garland doing his job. The grand jury either indicts or not so... What is it you don't think Garland is doing?

8. I think Garland is looking for any excuse not to indict

The trial balloon of appointing a special prosecutor is only the latest example

Two things: 1) there’s an old saying, a prosecutor can get a grand jury to indict for nearly anything. 2) Neither a grand jury or the DOJ are charged with determining guilt or innocence. Only a trial jury can do that. We’ve all seen just cause for Trump to at least stand trial. Let a jury decide whether his actions exceed a reasonable doubt.

I will be very happy to be proven wrong. Ecstatic in fact. I’m convinced it won’t happen.

The grand jury will end… Either with indictments or not… Then we know.

But that does not answer my question… What more should Garland be doing?

If the Grand Jury fails to indict, what will we know?
We won’t know what evidence was presented. We won’t know how comprehensive and clear the presentation was. We won’t even know what possible charges were discussed. Did Garland and the DOJ really follow all the leads, talk to all the players, did they miss or, worse, omit evidence they shouldn’t? We won’t know.

I applaud your faith in the system and Garland. I take this other position without rancor. You are sanguine, I’m pessimistic.

So first he won't indict but when pointed out he can't, you pivot to he's looking for an excuse not to indict... When pointed out yet again, he does not indict, you pivot to he is secretly throwing the case. Your hatred of Garland does not seem to have any basis in fact other than you hate him so... I'm done here.

that’s pretty weak sauce.

I don’t hate Garland. I’m disappointed in his production to date and don’t believe he’ll indict or get a grand jury to indict or, oh never mind.

You’ve got your mind made up, which, by the way I wasn’t trying to change. And finally you resort to invective just prior to being done. Charming.
