The hotly contested race between Republican Herschel Walker and incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock for Georgia's United States Senate seat is headed to a runoff on December 6th because neither candidate earned fifty percent of the vote in the Tuesday midterms.

Whichever man wins could determine partisan control of the upper congressional chamber. Given those enormous takes, there are significant efforts among supporters of Walker and Warnock to convince Georgians to show up to the polls in a little less than four weeks. On Thursday night, Walker was the beneficiary of a bizarre last-minute pitch by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), who broke down into tears on Fox News while declaring that Black people need Walker to prevail.

Graham, who proclaimed last month that Walker's nomination proves that racism is nonexistent inside the GOP, is a key witness in Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis' criminal investigation into former President Donald Trump's scheme to overturn President Joe Biden's Peach State victory in the 2020 election.

"Here's the most important point I'm going to make tonight. They're trying to destroy Herschel to deter young men and women of color from being Republicans. If they destroy Herschel, it will deter young people of color from wanting to be a conservative Republican because you just had your life ruined," Graham griped to host Sean Hannity.

"We cannot let that happen. We need to have his back. If Herschel wins, he's going to inspire people all over Georgia – of color – to become Republicans and I say all over the United States," Graham blubbered. "Herschel Walker is a nightmare for liberals. He's an African-American conservative. They have belittled him. They have treated him like crap, his family, stand by Herschel tonight."
