Idiot MAGAt pissed me off last night at the 7-11.

So, I could not sleep last night -- still keyed up over the races which had not been called in favor of Dems. I tried some re-runs of Law & Order and decided I wanted coffee. I was out of creamer and went to the 7-11.

So, in front of me was some obvious MAGAt asshole bloviating about the guy in Pennsylvania with "mush for brains" who won the Senate race. I saw red (inside), turned to the MAGAt asshole and sweetly in my little old lady voice said, "Oh, no, you are mistaken...Oz lost."

What a fucking asshole!!!!!!! Still sweetly smiling, I moved in front of the MAGAt, and paid for my creamer. Two other people in line behind us -- young men -- started clapping and one held the door open for me as I left...with the creamer for my coffee!

Makes us MORE tired. When I take a long road trip, I don't even bother trying to drink coffee at the end of the day to try to stay awake. I'll fall asleep at the wheel, every time.

It works like it's supposed to when I wake up in the morning and need the last of the cobwebs cleared out.

So what it does with me is accelerate whatever my body's up to at the time, whether waking up after getting my sleep...or my body saying, "I can't stay up anymore."

38. I was really upset the other day about a "Fuck Biden" flag on a pick up truck.

My gentleman friend and I were taking a shortcut through a residential neighborhood on our way to a late lunch. Directly across the street from an elementary school -- in session at the time -- was one of those idiot MAGAt pick up with a HUGE "Fuck Biden" flag hanging off the back of it.

I live in a purple area, yet they act like everyone will naturally agree with them. They seem to have no understanding that MANY people won't agree with their commentary, because they'll often look surprised when others indeed express their disagreement.

I experienced the OPPOSITE during a vacation in California a few years ago. I rode on Amtrak trains to get there -- since they didn't care about all my hiking/camping gear, which included bear spray. During the Portland to Sacramento leg of the trip, the liberal passenger next to me was LOUDLY deriding right-wingers. I agreed with him, but I was also nervously looking around at other passengers because I assumed they'd have some angry rednecks around there too. But everyone on the train looked satisfied despite the guy's yelling!

I have gone back to visit a few times and learned very quickly to keep my liberal thoughts to myself. I live in a very blue area of SoCal in L.A. County. A few rednecks and RWNJs, but you can still go out and see Bernie stickers on cars. I cannot say that in the 2020 election I ever saw a "Trump" sign on a car on in a window but maybe once or twice.

Weather and politics...I could never live in NE Ohio again. Have some family left there and they are Repubs. The properties and homes are beautiful, but no thank you to the winters and the humidity in the summer.
