5. I actually had an interesting conversation at work, short and sweet.

Young black guys and older white guy are always dipping on each other and both were a bit apathetic about voting the week before when management was asking if people needed time off to go vote.

I said, "I'm going as soon as the polls open and then gotta drop Hubby off and I should be in close to start time."

They were dithering about it. I looked at them and said, "It doesn't matter to me as much if we disagree on the details, but I want all our votes to count, yours, yours, yours and mine too. It shouldn't be a thing in this country, but it's gotten that way. There is a group that will decide your vote for you and those people gotta go."

Dropped the mike and went on with my job.

They all voted.
