The Federalist Society and Abortion: This should outrage all of us

The abortion issue is still very much a real one. This article, about The Federalist Society's annual conference, should outrage us. Check out how many SCOTUS justices were there.

This article alone spells out the power of this organization, on abortion and on many other issues. I hope its influence can be limited; otherwise, it will continue to be a spawning ground for judges who have greatly reshaped America, and not in a good way.

Environmental laws, labor and civil rights laws, regulation of industry, etc.

The whole reason the FS was founded was to create a "farm team" and pipeline for jurists with "conservatively correct" views to get on the courts and reverse the decisions that supported those things.

Elect Democrats to the Presidency and the Senate.
The Federalist Society isn't going away, and even if it did, it wouldn't matter. Folks don't adopt a particular judicial philosophy by joining the Federalist Society. The folks who join the Federalist Society already have that particular judicial philosophy.
