(15,265 posts)It will be deleted if I do not reactivate by 11/25. So the downside is I can't read any tweets. However so far imo it has been worth it. I don't . Among my reasons is the callous way Musk deals with people. He has no respect for his employees or those who don't kiss his ring. It is my understanding is that he wants to turn twitter into a one stop 'online shop " that will include money sharing between use something like venmo that will allow the funds to be transferred vetween members abd possibly for purchasing and or charging for content and shopping etc. The guy is too thin skinned and narcissistically malignant for me too trust my personal data and financial data with. I suspect that I am going to let my account be deleted on the 25th.

(6,625 posts)... then he's younger than he looks; the PPK in .22LR was introduced in 2013, just for those who want the "Bond gun" but want it for plinking with cheap ammo.
Unlike the milled all-steel construction of the .32 and .380 versions, the frame and slide of the .22 are made of a cast zinc alloy -- in other words, it's a cheap, pale imitation of the iconic PPK.
Chump.

(50,562 posts)The Walther PPK is not a great pistol. It's too fucking heavy and its ergonomics are terrible - and it's one of the most expensive guns on the market. You are WAY better off with a Beretta or SIG Sauer...maybe an H&K if you really like to spend money.
