Blowing a shofar sounds apt for republicans right now

...here's hoping some ultimate biblical sacrifice comes out of it.

It appears that Kari Lake supporters have completed their ‘March of Jericho’ around the Maricopa ballot counting center, and are now blowing a shofar. https://pic.twitter.com/yu6HXVV48j

...republicans like Maistriano supporters took to blowing a shofar to signal their association with a messianic form of Judaism to deflect from charges of antisemitism. But from here on, 'blowing a shofar' for republicans should signify blowing a mythical red wave election.

Repubs were not doing that in Charlottesville when yelling 'Jews will not replace us' and 'ovens ready for the Jews again'.

3. I burst out laughing thinking of an old joke:

Two older gentile men are walking down the street one day, when they happen to pass by a Jewish synagogue. Suddenly they hear a strange wailing sound.

One old fellow turns to his buddy and says "What was THAT?!"

The buddy replies "Well I used to work for a Jewish family, and I happen to know that it was the sound of the Rabbi blowing the Shofar!

The first old gentleman thinks for a moments and says, "Hmmm... Those Jewish folk sure are good to the help!"

On edit: I heard that joke every Rosh Hashanah for decades…
