In my youth, this was the theme song of the Democratic Party

I think it's time to reinstate it. If our parents and grandparents could proudly sing it during the depression and World War II, we can surely do the same when things are looking up!



And by the way, HOORAY! We retained control of the Senate!

When we win important elections. I did it in 2020 and I will do it again tomorrow when I see him.

but they knew the importance of voting for Democrats, having survived the Depression and WWII.

I asked the olds why we don't sing it anymore and they said it was too tied to the depression. They all lived through the depression and were very active in Democratic politics so maybe so.

Pre-rock and roll, 20th Century white peoples’ music pretty much sucked. I put Mitch and Lawrence Welk in the same bland basket.
