There was no way for her to win there with the vote suppression.

You apparently don't know that Kemp then secretary of state, suppressed thousands of African American votes in the first contest four years ago. It was a big story...as secretary of state, the person who runs elections suppressed Black votes. He should've recuse himself. It was so obvious he stole that first election, and then as with Senator Warnock, incumbents have the advantage (fingers crossed that he defeats that imbecile Walker in the run-off). And btw, Georgia's run-off law was installed as a racist backup in case an undesirable candidate wins the election, which Warnock did, but unlike other states, he didn't win enough so repubs get another chance to steal it. It won't work again though. Just like in 2020.

Roughly the same number of people voted for Senate and Governor. Which means roughly 130,000 people voted for Sen. Warnock and then voted for Gov. Kemp.

In 2018 he was secretary of state, the one who runs elections. He invalidated thousands of Black votes, as the Sec'y of State. It was a big, obvious story then. He should've recused himself. He basically elected himself by those actions. This term, as incumbent, it carried over as it's hard to unseat an incumbent.

She’s smart with these voter laws n fire in her belly...would be a shame not to have her on the team. I agree, it is Georgia's loss n now a run off w/ the most unqualified candidate for Senator. What is going on in Georgia?

That said, the fact that she lost her 2022 race by more than her last one doesn't inspire me (when her organizing work is supposed to have aided Biden, Warnock, and Ossoff in their subsequent races).

Of course, being a national DNC chair is a different ball of wax from running for Georgia governor.
