please dont shade those of us sticking it out at twitter.

nobody believed me when i said there was a resistance there. but there sure was, from zero hour. those advertisers didnt bail cuz they were getting called out. they bailed cuz their analytics told them they were getting blocked. i was 1 of many ppl blocking left and right, and urging others to do the same. y i'm in it to til the last dog dies.

I am sorry your friend lost in the midterm. I donated and hoped we would see a victory. Have a nice day.

It appears one needs to presume every post on DU is actually a twitter post.

I think the "resistance" stuff has officially reached irksome levels.

People are sitting on their computers and phones typing memes all day.

It's not the French Underground.

When someone shares a link from FB, it's generally recognized as bullshit. Or at least something that should be double checked.

People practically use Twitter on their works cited page. That's why one bothers me more than the other.

That said, I'm commenting on this whole, "The Resistance!" thing. It was kinda cute when Trump was elected, but it was always lacking in self-awareness of how totally ridiculous it looked. Like, using that word unironically for activities people are managing in their pajamas will never not be hilariously peak social media.
