I'll take more Jefferies, Katie Porters and Pete Buttigiegs.

Younger, eloquent, fearless. (With all due respect to Nancy and Joe Biden of course).

the younger generation. Porter and Swawell fit in that younger generation as each is in early 40s, but not Schiff, who is a little older.

Pete Aguilar too if you need a Californian.

Privately whipping votes from Dems is a different skillset than publicly whipping the GOP in hearings.

between the Mueller probe (with hearings), 2 Impeachments (with hearings) and their 2 Senate trials, a pandemic, an insurrection, and then the J6 Committee hearings.

He has been Chair of the House Democratic Caucus since the 2018 election, so that has already put him in a position of being in the middle-tier level of leadership, directly involved with the senior leadership, and requiring him to get to know and gauge the mood and sentiment of the membership. His counterpart is the loon Elise Stefanik on the GOP side.
