Plus, a whole gaggle of anti-Hispanic bigots that will vote for roadkill - if it means sticking it to the Hispanics (though, of course, they'd use different terminology).

But it's changing - including white voters.

Of course, there’s red districts in Cali but I didn’t know about her location. So..good job ✅

Her district is in a very wealthy sea-side portion of Orange County that was always deep-red.

Her current district is actually a new district (with reapportionment) that is even tougher for a Democrat to win than her old district (whose borders overlap).

Don't think of this result as Porter "not being appreciated," but rather that she is a super-star to win in such a disadvantageous area.

A major accomplishment. Really.

The important matter is Porter won. And it is a real achievement on her part.
