What if Trump (if he's the nominee) is arrested 10 days before Election 2024?

Will it hurt or help him?

It will hurt Trump, undecideds will break for Biden and his supporters will stay home

It will help Trump, his supporters will be riled up, and undecideds would think it was way too close to the election

will delay the investigation or prosecution in the slightest? He'll just pick up from the existing investigation; he doesn't have to start over.

The new guy has to learn where we're at now, and be briefed on everything prier. Maybe only a little bit, or maybe significantly. No one knows yet.

But even if DoJ kept the case, nothing can happen in the stolen documents matter until the 11th Circuit decides the special master issue, because those documents can't be used as evidence until they are released to the DOJ. Even though that's on an expedited schedule there probably won't be a decision for several weeks. There will be no significant difference in the progress of the overall investigations.

We will be too embroiled in the election season come summer, with primaries not far off. And since the gop controls their primary schedule, they can move up an early one until whenever they and a friendly state legislature want.
