It the pain of the very last veil of that we are a nation of laws has been proven false. Equal justice never existed in this country and will not because Trump and his minions are above the law.

Power is the law
We better use while we have it or it will be gone.

President Biden this is a death match. Go Joe!

I must have missed that news in all this talk about appointing a special prosecutor.

It's a step toward prosecution, not away from prosecution
.
The announcement came just after the emblodened GOP House began crowing about their plans to "investigate" (translation: harass and impede, maybe even impeach) everyone in the Biden administration who has accomplished anything positive. Garland was specifically named, ampng others. They won't find that so easy to do to a Special Counsel.

And then there's the three Grand Juries which have been convened.

But no, if one has made up one's mind that Garland is total loss, nothing that happens will change that, indeed anything that happens will be taken to support that.

Jack Smith has the bonafides..prosecuting international war crimes isn't like arguing a drunk driving charge in night court....Garland was wise to keep the Trump investigations far away from li'l Napoleon Jim Jordan..Jordan can haul Garland before his committee of buffoons and screech insults every day of the week but the weasel can't touch Jack Smith and the investigation...Smith answers only to Garland..

Quit a job prosecuting war criminals at The Hague to take this gig.

as a war crimes prosecutor at The Hague to take this role fills me with confidence - and a sense of joy bc of the coming TrumpCo implosion.
