The most ideal scenario, of course, would have been for the Democrats to retake the House...

But, gerrymandering and voter suppression notwithstanding, we will now see a perfect clown show storm process in the People's House. The People's Clown Show, as it were.

It would have been nice if all the GOPr clowns lost their reelection bids, MTG, Gym Jordan, Nazi Gosar, however with BoBo finally winning her razor thin victory last night, the clown car is now at full capacity.

The last person in Washington DC who should celebrate this outcome is now the man with the Speaker's Gavel, Steve... Uh, I mean Kevin McCarthy. Steve... , Uh, I mean Kevin has all the integrity of a used car salesman with a gambling addiction and now he's faced with leading a Republican caucus in charge of running committees that are dead set on holding hearings that will best be described as "dubious."

He has no control over these freshly empowered fools, who have not had a single day of experience of being in charge of running half of Congress. All they know is pointlessly throwing shit and attention whoring... Which they will, no doubt, persist in doing for the next two years.

The committees, hellbent on settling scores and investigating mindless MAGAt conspiracies will quickly devolve into crucibles to test the capacity of Republican shame and embarrassment. Especially, when the witnesses that they subpoena sit in testimony and point out to the GOPrs their own foolishness on national TV. After the utter disgrace of the Hillary's Emails and Benghazi debacles, GOPrs still have not learned their lessons. McCarthy knows, however, because he was there to see it all, and now this Republican nightmare is about to repeat itself and he has no power to stop it.

The inmates are in charge of the asylum, baby.

Over on the Democrat side, Hakeem Jeffries stands, ready to give the nut job GOPrs and Steve... Uh, Kevin the daily drubbing that he deserves. It'll be glorious. We'll keep the Senate and the White House, which means that GOPr nonsense bills will wither and die.

Frankly, if politics is supposed to be entertaining, I can't think of a better way to have it for the next couple of years. So, if government can't at least be fully functional, entertaining it shall be.

Which means MTG, GYM, Boobert are going to be humiliated if they dare try his patience. The words that come out of his mouth will likely not be nice ones, but appropriate for the occasion.

How quickly they shut up about the Jan. 6th (around a few days later) insurrection.

And they all started squawking like a bunch of crazy birds about how the midterms ALWAYS go to the opposite party. They had no on the ground proof that this time it was going to happen. So had they had to manufacture proof by reiterating ad nauseum the midterms ALWAYS go to the opposite party. So once enough Democrats were depressed not to vote and independents believing they should go with the historical trend, out popped some polls, too many RW leaning in the mix to really be valid, but still they tooted that horn.

Just like MSM cost us Hillary over IQ45 by fawning non-stop over all his idiocies, they did it again this time to the House.

For dems continued overperforming in every election since 2016... people made it clear that they are tired of the repub shitshow.

So let them play in the clown car. Let them get more outrageous. Let them waste the American taxpayers time and money. It's only two years. This country has weathered worse for longer.

But, I will bet even money that two more years of this repub shitshow, but now square in the spotlight, will, hopefully, drive people even more into the dem column.

Now that the GOP is in control of the House, they have 2 years to show us how they can lead on the issues that matter to them. Let them show us how much they care about inflation, crime and election integrity.
Will they be able to pass any meaningful crime legislation? Hell no, they will be too distracted by investigating Hunter Biden.
Can they do anything intelligent about the economy? Not a chance, instead they will force a government shutdown over the debt ceiling, which will lead us into a serious recession.
Then there is the issue of election integrity. It will be interesting to see how the party who only wins by gerrymandering tries to correct the "stolen" election system. Maybe the Pillow Guy can help craft meaningful ideas.

One of the good things about the last two years was not having to see that toxic gnome. I hate the idea he will have a higher profiLe....I just hope the public sees that toxic creature for what he is.
