It would depend what was passed and the Court’s rationale in ruling against it.

Though presumably a Congress capable of enacting such legislation would likely have sufficient support to begin reforming the Court.

Congress could deny them jurisdiction on an issue, I think it would have been done in the past. Has it?

THIS SC has me very worried, because I know who they are and what their purpose really is. Now i'm thinking if congress does pass a bill to allow abortions for anybody, then someone from the 11th circuit area WILL file a lawsuit. Please explain how the SC can be stopped from making a decision? IF it's the decision i think it will be. Please take it from there. What happens? I'm not arguing against what you're saying, i'm just honestly wondering how it will be handled.

in the Constitution that prohibits individual states from outlawing abortion on that basis. Dobbs does not prevent any state from legalizing it nor does it prevent the federal government from legalizing it.

I really believe someday they WILL do something really crazy. If they do, what can be done about it? Is there any recourse against these judges to stop them? I know this is crazy BUT it seems to me our country (with all the crazies in congress) is headed for something that has NEVER happened before.

It will be years before such a case is likely to come before the court, and who knows who will be on it by then?

I worry this will happen lots sooner than your thinking it will. Everything i'm seeing these people (Congress full of crazies)will be doing this sooner than you think. Surely around 2024, especially if their FGuy is running. Maybe this is a better question here. Who has the most power? The SC or Congress (half loaded with criminals)?

But you can be assured it can be legislated/ ruled on and look what has already happened. Women are being denied abortions to save their lives, denied medical care until they are in sepsis even with a non viable pregnancy and no one is even challenging that. This does not bode well. Tg I am way past having to worry about it and I have no human children. I worry for those who have to worry.
