Arizona Republican refuses to perform her duties until there's a redo of the election she won

By Travis Gettys
Published November 21, 2022

A recently elected Arizona legislator is planning to go on strike if the Nov. 8 election is not redone.

Liz Harris, who won her election in Legislative District 13, issued a statement on Instagram and her campaign website pledging that she would not vote on any bill because she believes Republicans had been robbed in statewide races, reported KPNX-TV.

"Although I stand to win my Legislative District race it has become obvious that we need to hold a new election immediately," Harris said in the statement. "There are clear signs of foul play from machine malfunctions, chain of custody issues and just blatant mathematical impossibilities. How can a Republican State Treasurer receive more votes than a Republican Gubernatorial or Senate candidate?"

Instead of putting her name on the door, just change it to Temper Tantrum Room .....no grownups allowed........her getting elected is fine and dandy...... but when someone from the other party gets elected throw a fit....fine sit in your room all day and POUT.....one less for a quorum in your fascist party there lady....and if they all join in on your petard..... bring or have lost of tissues on hand when your bunch are .... .....then the Democratic representatives that won will pass legislation to help seniors, disable, First People issues ....

Legislatures need to just go on about their business and let them stew.

exercise your right to refuse to vote on anything.

That's perfect, really.

Interesting side note is that the Republican Treasurer who won decisively, who's pretty much the only RePuQ candidate who did so in AZ ... is Asian-American, whereas all the losers are Caucasian.

get more votes than that party's candidates for governor or senator?

Two-part short answer:
1. That's how the voters voted
2. The State Treasurer candidate wasn't Lake or Masters

And a new MAGA term emerges: "Blatant mathematical impossibility". Before now, it was all non-blatant!

The Treasurer's candidates were:

Yee, Kimberly (REP)
Quezada, Martín (DEM)

You think there's a possibility that a certain % of voters knew jack shit about either of these people and just went ... huh ... Treasurer ... money ... that involves math ... I think I'll take the Asian Lady over the Mexican Guy ... and that's really all there is to this apparent discrepancy she's whining about?

I mean I'm not meaning to perpetuate stereotypes here, but ... people HAVE THEM, like it or not. Esp. in AZ.

Seriously, one GOP legislator refuses to vote on any bills?

That only helps the Democratic legislators.

And who the hell is going to pay for another election?

And with even a fraction of the shady repubs tactics mitigated We would certainly have or regain the House.

She wasted a BUNCH of other peoples’ money getting elected, and now she is going to collect a fairly healthy salary - and yet she is going to not do the job she was selected for.

If she is not the perfect example of a WELFARE QUEEN, I don’t know what is!
