we may have reached the turning point, as the coup attempt and overturning of roe hopefully has been just too much for them to get away with.

that said, it the point we won gettysburg, the confederate armies were still a good distance into pennsylvania!
and it would still be a long time and many battle to get to appomattox.

if the time lines are in roughly the same proportion, we're still a couple decades away from pushing them back to the point where they stole the presidency from al gore....

5. The worm has turned

I believe. It may be slowly and certainly not totally, but it's moving away from their sick and anti-democratic impulses. And the fascists are never going away. But we've turned a corner in the fight. And, like you said, now is not the tme to let up.

7. That's a fair assessment, but I would counter with the fact that the repukes

and their MAGAt enablers were positive that a red wave was upon us and it turned out to be bullshit, so, IMO, we've got the upper hand and we should proceed to utterly destroy them and consign them to the dustbin of history.
