3. I think language is far too important to understanding to

corrupt and "lose" useful words this way. Sexual abuse of children isn't going away; people who work with that dreadful problem need it.

Honesty also matters. Trying to smear them with the evils of sexual predation won't work because everyone knows they're not all child molesters.
