Steve Martin is arguably one of the top 3 banjo players today (he's been playing for longer than I've been alive, and I'm over 40) – cheers.

Benn hankering to learn banjo, but it's a challenge! I'm just trying to be consistent with my bum diddy claw hammer thingy.

He's up there alright. I'll never forget being stunned he was actually playing banjo in the Jerk, if memory serves.

thanks for posting this, I'm glad I stumbled on it at this moment in this effed up world.

Saw him live twice and also saw his musical Bright Star. That guy is a national treasure for sure!
