I drive by one station & diesel is 60 cents higher than gas. A few miles away, diesel is 98 cents more than gas.
And, I see this routinely.
Diesel is commoditized, so why the difference?

Heard a report this morning on NPR about the supply glut a lot of retailers are facing, particularly in electronics. A lot of on the surface reporting from retailers, but no deep dive into what might have caused shortages last year and why there's so much surplus this year. Just one of those mysteries of the universe that mankind was not meant to know.
