Bush was blamed for everything that happened during his presidency (deservedly so: unnecessary war, deaths of American soldiers, rise of terrorism, deregulation of financial institutions, and so much more). If it wasn’t him, it was the “Bush administration.” The media created him four years ago and protected him. And there are two many “low information” voters who go along with the propaganda. I can’t think of any president in my lifetime who would have been re-elected with the economy in the dumpster, murders in Benghazi and a message of division by race, class, gender."
