With their assurance all I can say is, when the power goes out, I won't be able to get on the internet and tell you that I am going for a walk and I might be gone for a while.

I have enjoyed my time in the DU community if I am gone for good, just know that I loved many of you. If my soul continues, I will remember you all fondly. My greatest regret was not moving my family out of Texas years ago. Now I will pay the price for my folly.

I will try to burn what I can safely burn and bundle up as warm as I can. Maybe I can live to be a witness to the second great Texas death in winter. I wonder what it will take for my fellow Texans to learn the folly of supporting fascists.
