I believe Trump will be indicted in the secret document investigation in the next month or two. The prosecutors are now free to move forward. Judge Cannon can no longer delay things for Trump. This is not a complicated case. Trump defied a Grand Jury Subpoena, moved, hid evidence and he has no defense.

try to get a stay from SCOTUS pending a full appeal. The request for a stay will go to Clarence Thomas, but I doubt that even he would grant it.

The right wing on the court will help right wing causes like helping corporations and supporting Christofascism, but so far they have ruled against Trump in his personal cases (tax returns, subpoena, the election, etc)

3. Thomas didn't grant Trump's request for a stay of the earlier 11th Circuit order

that allowed DOJ to review the classified documents. The 11th Circuit's reasoning in that order is essentially the same as its reasoning in today's order.

will try to appeal anyhow. That's what they do. I do not think there will be any significant delay, as these attempts will be shot down in flames. But I doubt they'll admit defeat; they'll try something.
