Nazi was the abbreviation of the NSDAP, the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei. National Socialist German Workers Party. The Republicans, while obviously nationalist, are not socialist, not German, and certainly not for the working man.

"Nazi" if pronounced NAH-tsee is just a German abbreviation for the word "National" as pronounced in German, "Nah-tsee-oh-NAHL."
