A Manhattan jury has found two Trump Organization companies guilty on multiple charges of criminal tax fraud and falsifying business records connected to a 15-year scheme to defraud tax authorities by failing to report and pay taxes on compensation for top executives.

The Trump Corp. and Trump Payroll Corp. were found guilty on all charges they faced.

Donald Trump and his family have not been charged in this case.

6. A tax fraud case, where the Trump Org. is found guilty on all counts, over 15 years of criminality

and it results in a $1.61 million fine?

And we wonder why people are angry?

8. Well, prosecutors did find proof that tRump approved "a key aspect"

of this tax fraud scheme, "an explosive claim" in closing arguments, and no doubt found a lot more evidence of involvement, even if he wasn't charged at this stage, which a lot of analysts are seeing as...foundational. The Manhattan DA's criminal inquiry is still "ongoing."

The fine in this case doesn't strike me as being commensurate with the crimes.

Let's hope this verdict leads to further prosecutions.

10. Doesn't strike anyone, I imagine. How people who smiled graciously

as they publicly paraded their conviction that the laws, even the principles, of little people didn't apply to superior beings like them are feeling as this progresses I can't really imagine.
