(19,195 posts)the ubiquitous pharmaceutical commercials. I'm lucky I don't have any of those diseases or medical conditions, because the side effects of those drugs sound much worse than any disease I've ever had. I don't know if I'd have the nerve to take any of them.
what you mean. When I took Enbrel and my mom heard a commercial for it or read about it (this has been years ago) she says that is so dangerous, why are you taking that! I get my blood work done every couple months mom. I am on top of it. Dont worry about it.

(19,195 posts)The amount of money these pharmaceutical companies spend on advertising is outrageous!
They could probably cut the cost of these medicines in half if they just let Doctors decide if their patients should take them. They want everyone sitting in their living rooms to demand these drugs from their Doctors.
Anyway, glad Enbrel is working for you without any of the possible harsh side effects wrecking your quality of life.

I am setting myself up for disappointment I'm sure.
