John Mellencamp sent a letter that said "Why are you playing songs that have a very populist pro-labor message written by a guy who would find no argument if you characterized him as left of center?"

I suppose one could confuse "Our Country" talking about 'Murica.

But you gotta be fucking high if you listen to "Pink Houses" and don't agree with John Mellencamp himself who characterized it as an Anti-American song. One could respectfully differ with Mr. Mellencamp and say it's a song about the Real America.
