Dems will make them regret it. The media did an extremely poor job of covering how Trump set up a no win situation by selling out the Afghan government to the Taliban in an agreement to withdraw US troops. Then Trump's State Department obstructed attempts to vet people for evacuation.

Biden managed to get an extension of time for the withdrawal and then rushed to vet people - US citizens and Afghan people who were US loyalists - in order to get them out in time. Biden's choices after Trump's sellout to the Taliban were to leave without our citizens and loyal Afghans or go back to square one and fight the Taliban war all over again.

Biden refused to reignite the war and still managed to evacuate thousands of people.
