So, they have never had paid sick.
The RLA also covers airline workers, who do have paid sick, mostly because they are actually barred by federal regulation from working if they are sick.
Its ridiculous. No one should be forced to come in to work if they are ill.

the transportation industry is viewed so critically, to keep people from calling in sick, getting sick pay. Make them hire extra workers, to cover these shifts. Why should this industry be any different? Perhaps Bernie S. can swing something for these workers.

in all kinds of weather and temperatures tend to get more colds and flu s.
Having no sick days is very unfair.
