just plain nasty--to everyone. Surely on some instinctive level, she must come across to them as the truly unpleasant and fully ugly being that she is.

But, who knows? There are other MTGs out there and the male versions are hardly less contemptible even if we are more accustomed to them.

He is such an obvious sleazeball. He makes my skin crawl.

I meant the most hated person in the Senate - among his colleagues. Even republicans can't stand his arrogant, condescending demeanor. I think it was Al Franken who delegated him The Most Hated Person in the Senate.

Is not being offensive or insensitive.

We are not describing her appearance, but her overall CHARACTER. Of which she has little of.

Yeah and that is pretty much all the time!

She is that annoying parent who shows up at your kid's school and starts yelling at the teacher in front of everyone because her little Tommy feels left out or whatever. I've known my share of Margorie Taylor Greenes and normal people avoid them whenever possible.

If she is ignored, she will just get louder and more outrageous. Just imagine being married to a person like that. I'm surprised her marriage lasted 27 years year. Her demands for nonstop attention must have been exhausting.

Her being such a loud mouthed dumb ass, shurely she rubs many the wrong way in her own party. But regardless, I think most of McCarthy's caucus doesn't like him because he's not bat shit crazy enough. Not necessarily a bad thing for us. They're essentially bottled up with only a slim House majority, plus a Democratic Senate and Admin, and can do no real, lasting damage. So let them bounce off the walls. They're only hurting themselves for 2024.

In my opinion, many, particularly in our press, don't realize how weak the current iteration of Republicanism truly is. They couldn't take Congress in an off year election with a less than stellar economy. They've not won a national popular vote in nearly 20 years. They cling to what little national power they still have with tricks and anachronisms embedded in our form of democracy. As the country continues to inch to the left, even that will fail to work on a national level.

And DU was a little upset at first because he was so vocal on media. He seemed like a leader . . . but then a lot of Dems in the house shrugged about losing him because he did next to nothing legislative wise. He was all talk, no game.

I assume MTG is exactly the same way. She never saw a microphone she didn't love, but has zero accomplishments within the house. There is zero reason to believe her GOP members don't despise her as they know she will make any legislating harder. She's all talk, no game and now they have to govern. Will this cause members to not vote for McCarthy? IDK. My assumption is the next GOP speaker will be a joke and it's title will become a curse to whomever the title hangs on.

I mean, Hunter Biden's laptop 24/7 . . . yeah, FOX universe will Jizz, but the country as a whole doesn't like these nothing burgers.
