Had my Covid Bivalent shot on Friday.

I can drink water again without getting nauseated or sick!

When I got covid for the first time in Feb it destroyed my taste. Water was the worse of all. It was like drinking contaminated water or rotten eggs. I could only take a couple sips without wanting to throw up.

Water right now has a bad taste to it BUT I am not getting sick and I have had 2 glasses of water today and it just is so nice to know I can drink healthy again.

But everything still tastes different and weird to me. I'm wondering if it will ever return to normal because it's been months now. I guess it's good I'm not a foodie; I don't live to eat or anything. I've never really liked plain water, so I splash a little 7-Up or fruit juice in water to get it down--it's extremely diluted soda, and tastes best with a lot of ice, which dilutes it further.

I'm sure you will continue to improve and get back to normal. Most people do.

I've been recovering from covid for a month, dealing with nasal drainage and coughing, and this morning I strained something in my windpipe trying to clear my throat. Never felt anything like it.
Glad you can drink water again. Only the taste of water was affected? Weird.

water was the worse and the one I wanted to drink the most. I can't do milk because it taste sour/expired even though it is fresh milk. Cheese has no taste. I am tending to eat things that have no taste.

AND SO SHOULD EVERYONE ELSE BE! I'm with our President when he said of people who refuse vaccinations, Our patience is running out (or something very close to that).

My left arm fell off and these antennae on my head keep bumping into things and I still can't get 5g, but it's all good as long as I don't eat fried zombies.

Seriously, hope your taste returns!

The taste is bad BUT is doesn't make me sick and I can get water in me. That is important.
