I kept hearing Southern California for a week, so I just assumed it was landing, like, just off the Santa Monica pier, or something.

3. I did not know it was Mexico. I don't know my geography.

4. it was to land off California... they had to shift to the primary backup site because of

ocean conditions (6 to 10 foot swells). The Baja location had less than 5 foot swells.
